Access Denied
This was my band in 1994 and 1995. We managed to open for Econoline Crush, The Look People and Angry White Mob. Our style was pretty unusual for it's time. The sequencing was done with a version of Cakewalk for MS-DOS on a 386 DX 33mhz. I used an authentic Roland MPU-401 for midi interfacing to a Casio FZ-1 Sampler/Synth, 2 x Ensoniq ESQ-1's, and a Yamaha RX-7 drum machine.
The vocals were done by David Portelance using a Radio Shack microphone and numerous guitar pedals. Digital Delay, Digital Chorus, Flanger, Phaser and Distortion were all used in conjuction to obtain his unusual voice. Myself and Jeff Dubois did the synths and percussion.
The track titled Window was written with David Shaw.
